Please charge ndex' gde 00001.202000.548100.0000.00 APPROV i Gallas-gui Agenda Coordinator N I/cdt -1- CITY OF MIAMI NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on November 21, 2013, at 9:00 A.M., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of waiving the requirements of obtaining sealed competitive bids for the procurement of the Scavenger 2000 Depollution Boat for the Public Works Department, from Water Management Technologies, Inc., the sole source provider, for one (1) year, with option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year periods with prices fixed and firm for the three (3) year period. Water Management Technologies, Inc.'s Scavenger 2000 Depollution Boat is a proprietary vessel. This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-92 of the City Code, of the City of Miami, as amended, and requires a 4/5ths affirmative vote of the Miami City Commission after a duly advertised public hearing. The recommendation and findings to be considered in this matter are set forth in the proposed resolution and in this Code Section, which are deemed to be incorporated by reference herein and are available as public records from the City of Miami. The Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning the proposed sole source determination. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
