Subject: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Miami Dade County

Purpose of Item:
To authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement for water & sanitary sewage services with
Miami Dade County Water and Sewer Department (WASD) for the Dinner Key Marina Dockmaster
Building Project, B-60464.
Background Information:
The City of Miami (City) is constructing a new docklnaster building located at the Dinner Key Marina,
Miami, Florida. The City intends to connect 7,352 square feet of office building to Miami -Dade
County's water and sewer systems. The capacity needed for the Project based on the agreed average
daily gallonage is 368 gallons, resulting in combined water and sewer connection charges in the amount
of $2,572.32. The City Manager requests authorization to execute an Agreement for water and sanitary
sewage services with WASD for the Dinner Key Marina Dockmaster Building Project, B-60464. Funds
are to be allocated from Capital Improvement Project No. B-60464.
