AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER FROM THE CITY OF MIAMI, DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ("CDBG")
FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,062,000; ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS TO THE CITY OF MIAMI,
PUBLIC FACILITIES FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR A GOLDEN PINES PARK LOCATED
AT 2471 SOUTHWEST 32ND AVENUE, 2511 SOUTHWEST 32ND AVENUE, 3190 SOUTHWEST 24T"
TERRACE AND 3186 SOUTHWEST 25111 STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENT(S), FOR SAID PURPOSE(S).

Background Information:
The Parks department has identified parcels of land in the Golden Pines located at 2471 Southwest
32nd Avenue; 2511 Southwest 32nd Avenue, 3190 Southwest 24th Terrace and 3186 Southwest 25th
Street, Miami, Florida; that is suitable for use as a park.
Pursuant to Resolution No. , adopted October 10, 2013, the Miami City Commission approved
the acquisition of 2471 Southwest 32nd Avenue by Public Facilities.
This acquisition is consistent with the Miami Parks and Public Spaces Master Plan.
The Administration recommends transfer from the City of Miami, Department of Community and
Economic Development CDBG funds in the amount of $1,062,000 and allocation of said funds to the
City of Miami, Public Facilities for the acquisition of Golden Pines Park.
