Subject: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Shoreline Foundation, Inc. for the
Miami Stadium Marina Bulkhead Replacement Project, B-30689.
Purpose of Item:
To accept the bid and authorize execution of a construction contract with Shoreline Foundation, Inc., the lowest
responsive and responsible bidder, pursuant to Invitation to Bid No. 12-13-047 received July 15, 2013, for the Miami
Stadium Marina Bulkhead Replacement Project, B-30689, in the amount of $1,214,551.00, for the scope of work, plus a
ten percent (10%) owner contingency amount of $121,455.10, for a total not to exceed award value of $1,336,006.10.
Funds in the amount of $1,336,006.10 are to be allocated from Capital Improvement Project No. B-30689.
Background Information
The Capital Improvements Program (CIP) issued Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 12-13-047 for construction services for the
Miami Stadium Marina Bulkhead Replacement, B-30689 (Project). Four (4) bids were received by the Office of the City
Clerk on July 15, 2013. CIP has determined Shoreline Foundation, Inc. (Shoreline) to be the lowest responsive and
responsible bidder.
The City Manager requests authorization to execute a contract with Shoreline, in the amount of $1,214,551.00, for the
scope of work, plus a ten percent (10%) owner contingency amount of $121,455.10, for a total not to exceed award value
of $1,336,006.10.
