HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 13-01060 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NO. 12-13-014, SITEOMAT FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,500, THEREBY INCREASING THE CONTRACT CAPACITY FROM AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $52,787 TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $55,287; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI AND AHA ELECTRONIC & FUEL SYSTEMS, INC., FOR SAID PURPOSE. WHEREAS, the current contract between the City of Miami and AHA Electronic & Fuel System, Inc., for the SiteOmat Fuel Management System, pursuant to Resolution No. 13-0117, adopted March 28, 2013, limits compensation in an amount not to exceed $52,787; and WHEREAS, unforeseen expenses were not included in the contract for services such as the Orpak U.S.A. site fire up, FHO Software configuration, FHO User training, vehicle installation training and travel time in a total amount of $2,500; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. An increase in the Sole Source Contract No. 12-13-014, SiteOmat Fuel Management System, in an amount not to exceed $2,500, thereby increasing the contract capacity from an amount not to exceed $52,787 to an amount not to exceed $55,287, is authorized. Section 3. The City Manager is authorized {1} to execute Amendment No. 1 to said contract, in substantially the attached form, between the City of Miami and AHA Electronic & Fuel Systems, Inc., for said purpose. Section 4. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
