A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NO. 12-13-014,
SITEOMAT FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$2,500, THEREBY INCREASING THE CONTRACT CAPACITY FROM AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $52,787 TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $55,287;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1, IN
SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI AND
AHA ELECTRONIC & FUEL SYSTEMS, INC., FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the current contract between the City of Miami and AHA Electronic & Fuel System,
Inc., for the SiteOmat Fuel Management System, pursuant to Resolution No. 13-0117, adopted March
28, 2013, limits compensation in an amount not to exceed $52,787; and
WHEREAS, unforeseen expenses were not included in the contract for services such as the Orpak
U.S.A. site fire up, FHO Software configuration, FHO User training, vehicle installation training and
travel time in a total amount of $2,500;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. An increase in the Sole Source Contract No. 12-13-014, SiteOmat Fuel Management
System, in an amount not to exceed $2,500, thereby increasing the contract capacity from an amount
not to exceed $52,787 to an amount not to exceed $55,287, is authorized.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized {1} to execute Amendment No. 1 to said contract, in
substantially the attached form, between the City of Miami and AHA Electronic & Fuel Systems, Inc.,
for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{2}

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter
and Code provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
