Director Chief'City Manager If using or receiving capital funds Grants Page 1 of 1 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED Background Information: Due to the decrease of available Community Development Block Grant funds, all Public Service agencies' allocations have been reduced by approximately 34 percent. Pursuant to Resolution No. , adopted September 26, 2013, the Miami City Commission approved the City's budget which included an allocation of Poverty Initiatives Program Funds in the amount of $190,500. The City Commission wishes to allocate funding to cover public service program shortfalls for fiscal year 2013-2014 from the Poverty Initiatives Program Fund, Account No. 14010.910101.882000 (these funds were transferred from the General Fund NDA Account No. 00001.980000.891000). Tthe City Commission recommends the allocation of funds from the Poverty Initiatives, totaling $190,500, in the amounts and to the agencies as specified in Attachment "A", attached and incorporated.
