Community Development The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitvdevelopment. The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 and ends on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department office located at 444 SW 2nd AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted in writing to the Address, Attn: Natasha T. Bordes, and must be received no later than October 9, 2013. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Discussion and proposed resolution allowing Wynwood Brewing Company LLC to amend its budget to include rent and inventory. 2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to submit the City's amended Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 to include shelter operations as an eligible Emergency Solutions Grant ("ESG") Strategy to HUD for review and approval and allowing ESG funds in the total amount of $100,343.68 to be used by the City of Miami, Neighborhood Enchancement Team -Homeless Programs for shelter operations/emergency hotel or motel for homeless families or individual. 3. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of Program Income from Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds generated from April 1,2013 to July 31, 2013, in the amount of $422,982 as follows: $63,447.28 to Public Service (2014-2015 Fiscal Year), $84,596.37 to Administration (2014-2015 Fiscal year), and $274,938.20 to Citywide Economic Development Reserve. 4. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer from the City of Miami, Department of Community and Economic Development CDBG funds in the amount of $1,062,000 and allocating said funds to City of Miami, Public Facilities for the Acquisition of land for Golden Pines Park located at 2471 Southwest 32nd Avenue, 2511 Southwest 32"d Avenue, 3190 Southwest 241h Terrace and 3186 Southwest 251h Street, Miami, Florida. 5.
