Enclosed you will find an ad for notice of a public hearing to be held by the City
Commission on September 26, 2013, for the purpose of granting to Florida Power and
Light Company, a perpetual, non-exclusive easement of approximately eight (8) foot wide
by thirty-two (32) foot long strip of City -owned property located at 430 SW 8th Avenue,
Florida (also known as Teatro Marti).
Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City
Commission.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
September 26, 2013, at 9:00 AM at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive,
Miami, Florida, for the purpose of granting the following:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT TO
FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY, A FOR -PROFIT FLORIDA
CORPORATION, FOR A PERPETUAL, NON-EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT
OF APPROXIMATELY EIGHT (8) FOOT WIDE BY THIRTY-TWO (32)
FOOT. LONG STRIP OF C.ITY-OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 430
SW 8TH AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA (ALSO KNOWN AS TEATRO
MARTI), FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION • AND
MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRIC UTILITY FACILITIES, WITH THE RIGHT
TO RECONSTRUCT, IMPROVE, ADD TO, ENLARGE, CHANGE THE
VOLTAGE AS WELL AS THE SIZE OF AND REMOVE ALL OR ANY OF
THE FACILITIES WITHIN SAID EASEMENT.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items.
_Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to
any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of
the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon any appeal may be
based (F.S.286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
Clerk no later than two (2) business days prior to the proceeding at (305) 250-5361
