HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-13-0347City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-13-0347 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 13-00897 Final Action Date: 9/12/2013 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE BAYFRONT PARK MANAGEMENT TRUST, IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,770,000, TO PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATIONS, MAINTENANCE AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE BAYFRONT PARK MANAGEMENT TRUST'S MANAGED FACILITIES, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2013 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2014. WHEREAS, the Bayfront Park Management Trust ("Trust") was created by the Miami City Commission to direct, operate, manage and maintain all aspects of Bayfront Park and Bicentennial Parks; and WHEREAS, Section 38-109 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, provides that the Trust shall submit its annual budget for the operations and maintenance of the Trust's managed facilities to the City Commission for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Trust's annual budget, attached and incorporated, in the amount of $7,770,000, to provide for the operations, maintenance and capital improvements of the Trust's managed facilities, for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2013, and ending September 30, 2014, is approved and adopted. Section 3. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
