The Miami Waterfront Advisory Board was created to review and make recommendations to the
City Commission concerning waterfront issues.
Five (5) appointments are required as of this time:
• Mayor Tomas Regalado has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:
1. Lucia Perez, incumbent whose term expires on July 12, 2013.
• Chair Marc David Sarnoff has one (1) nomination for a seat currently held by:
1. Charles Pruitt, incumbent whose term expires on July 12, 2013.
• Commissioner Frank Carollo has two (2) nominations for seats currently held by:
1. Wendy Kamilar, incumbent whose term expired on March 8, 2013, has served as a
member since June 13, 2002, and will require a term waiver by a unanimous (5/5)
vote of the Commission.
2. Manuel J. Prieguez, incumbent, whose term expired on March 8, 2013, has
exceeded the number of allowed consecutive absences (3 in 2012), and has exceeded
the number of allowed absences (7 in 2012), and will require a 4/5ths waiver of
attendance.
• Commissioner Francis Suarez has one (1) nomination for a seat currently:
1. Vacant. (Resignation by Denis Rod effective October 11, 2012)1.

Commission meetings.
This item was continued from November 15, 2012, December 13, 2012, January 10, 2013, February 14, 2013, March
14, 2013, April 11, 2013, May 9, 2013, and June 13, 2013, Commission meetings.
For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of
this memorandum, we are requesting the Agenda Office place this issue on the July 11, 2013
Commission agenda.
