The individual listed above is hereby appointed as a member of the Historic and Environmental Preservation Board, each to serve a term ending September 12, 2014, or until the nominating Commissioner leaves office, whichever occurs first. Section 2. The attendance requirements in Section 2-886 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, are hereby waived, as applicable, by a four/fifths (4/5ths) vote of the members of the City Commission, as it relates to past absences on record for Gerald C. Marston as a member of the Historic and Environmental Preservation Board. The term limit requirement contained in Section 2-885(b) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby waived by a unanimous (5/5) vote of the members of the City Commission, as said requirement relates to the appointment of Gerald C. Marston as a member of the Historic and Environmental Preservation Board.
