A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPOINTING CERTAIN
INDIVIDUALS AS MEMBERS OF THE HISTORIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL
PRESERVATION BOARD FOR TERMS AS DESIGNATED HEREIN.

Section 1. The individual listed above is hereby appointed as a member of the Historic and
Environmental Preservation Board, each to serve a term ending September 12, 2014, or until the
nominating Commissioner leaves office, whichever occurs first.
Section 2. The attendance requirements in Section 2-886 of the Code of the City of Miami,
Florida, as amended, are hereby waived, as applicable, by a four/fifths (4/5ths) vote of the
members of the City Commission, as it relates to past absences on record for Gerald C. Marston
as a member of the Historic and Environmental Preservation Board.

Section 3. The term limit requirement contained in Section 2-885(b) of the Code of the City of
Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby waived by a unanimous (5/5) vote of the members of the
City Commission, as said requirement relates to the appointment of Gerald C. Marston as a
member of the Historic and Environmental Preservation Board.
