RECOMMENDATION
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission accept the bid submitted by SFM
Services, Inc., for the provision of events maintenance services for the Bayfront Park
Management Trust (Trust), pursuant to IFB No. 367303, for the contract term of two -years, with
an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods, subject to the availability of funds for
succeeding fiscal years from the Trust's Operating Budget.
BACKGROUND
The City of Miami Purchasing Department issued IFB No. 367303, on May 16, 2013, for the
provision of events maintenance services for the Bayfront Park Management Trust (Trust). A
mandatory pre -bid meeting was held on May 23, 2013, where two (2) firms attended. The bid
closed on June 4, 2013, and the bid submitted by SFM Services, Inc., was deemed responsive
and responsible. The Executive Director of the Trust, Tim Schmand, signed the bid tabulation
sheet, and the board of the Trust approved the bid proposed by SFM Services, Inc., at a publicly •
noticed board meeting held on July 2, 2013, subject to City Commission approval.
