The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 9:00
a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on
funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs.
The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitvdevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no Tess than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 and ends on
Wednesday, July 24, 2013. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, July
25, 2013. Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department office located at 444
SW 2nd AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted in writing to the Address,
Attn: Natasha T. Bordes, and must be received no later than July 24, 2013. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this
Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed at 305-
416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the public hearing date.

The City of Miami Department of Community Development will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at City
Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment
on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development
(HUD) programs.
1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the acceptance of State Housing Initiatives Partnership ("SHIP")
funds in the total amount of $572,606, for fiscal 2013-2014, for the strategies under the current SHIP Local Housing
Assistance Plan ("LHAP").
2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG")
funds from the City of Miami, Community and Economic Development Reserve Account in the amount of
$1,622,986 for payment of the principal and interest due for the City's share of the Jungle Island Section 108 Loan
from HUD.
3. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of $1,500,000 to CIP for street improvements as part
of the Beacom Phase II project
