Background Information: Latent print examination services are needed in order to augment the staffing shortages at the Department of Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit. In response to said need, on March 8, 2013, the Purchasing Department .issued Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 356296 for latent print examination services. The RFQ closed on April 2, 2013 and the three (3) response submittals received were deemed responsive — all three (3) responsive submittals were received from incumbent providers on the current, expiring RFQ Contract No. 69034. Pursuant to the 'Budgetary Unit for the Department of Police, the estimated annual contract amount is $109¢00.00.
