ADDENDUM NO. 'I
IFB No. 360343 May 6, 2013
Invitation For Bid (IFB) for Rental of Tents, Tables, Chairs, and Linens, Citywide
TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the Bid Documents of the above captioned IFB,
and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain
unchanged. Please note the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand.
Q. 1 Please clarify as to how this bid will be awarded. Is the bid awarded individually (item by item) or is it
awarded as one cumulative sum? Or is it done differently?
A. 1 Pursuant to Special Condition Section 2.6, METHOD OF AWARD, the following is stated:
"Award of the line items identified in this contract will be made to the two (2) lowest responsive and
responsible bidders on an item -by -item, a combination/group of items, or a total of all items basis,
whichever is in the best interest of the City. The City shall select two (2) vendors, with the lowest
deemed the "Primary Vendor", the next lowest the "Secondary Vendor. The Primary Vendor shall be
given the first opportunity to deliver the goods identified in this contract. If the Primary Vendor is
unable to provide the goods, the City shall seek the goods from the Secondary Vendor."
As such, the City has the option to award this IFB on an "item -by -item, a combination/group of items, ora total
of all items basis."
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE IFB REMAI _.o. SAME.
