DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT 4 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE CITY
OF MIAMI — CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM ("CIP') FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR SAID
PURPOSE.

Background Information:
CIP is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of all construction
related capital projects in the City of Miami, and for the financial management of all capital funds.
CIP has identified areas in District 4 around Southwest 7th Street between Southwest 52nd Avenue
and Southwest 53rd Avenue and Southwest 7th Street from 49th Avenue to Southwest 51St Avenue
currently in need of improvements, including roadway milling and resurfacing, along with associated
drainage, sidewalk/ADA ramp, driveway, landscaping, new curbs and pavement markings and
signage upgrades.
The Administration recommends the transfer of CDBG funds in the total amount of $244,350, as
specified in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, to CIP for street improvements.
