The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 9:00
a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on
funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs.
The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamiciov.com/communitvdevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 and ends on
Wednesday, July 10, 2013. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, July
11, 2013. Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department office located at 444
SW 2nd AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted in writing to the Address,
Attn: Natasha T. Bordes, and must be received no later than July 10, 2013. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this
Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed at 305-
416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the public hearing date.

Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an
opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the proposed new
allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated below:* t
Discussion and Proposed Resolutions authorizing the acceptance, allocation, and/or transfer of funds for the following agenda Items:* t
1. Discussion and Proposed Resolution accepting Program Year ("PY") 2013-2014, United States Department of Housing and Urban Development
("HUD") Entitlement Grant funds, in the total amount of $18,794,119 as stated herein for the following programs: (a) Community Development
Block Grant ("CDBG"): $4,310,994; (b) Home Investment Partnerships ("HOME"): $2,739,396; (c) Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS
("HOPWA"): $11,381,465; (d) Emergency Solutions Grant ("ESG"): $362,264.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of PY2013-2014 HOME funds in the total amount of $2,739,396 in the following
categories: $273,939 for program administration, $1,500,000 for District 2 homeownership activities and $965,457 for all other housing programs.
3. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of PY2013-2014 ESG funds in the amount of $362,264, as specified below:

8. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of CDBG funds in the total amount of $225,000 from the City of Miami Department
of Community and Economic Development District 4 Economic Development Reserve account to the City of Miami — Capital Improvements
Program ("CIP") for the La Pastoria neighborhood traffic improvements.
9. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds in the amount of $100,000 from the City of Miami Department of
Community and Economic Development District 4 Economic Development Reserve account to Rebuilding Together Miami -Dade, Inc. for the
rehabilitation of single family homes is District 4.
* The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolution, by the City Commission, authorizes the City Manager to draft/ amend the appropriate City of Miami
