Mr. David H. Young offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI PLANNING, ZONING AND APPEALS BOARD
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL TO THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, AMENDING THE
ZONING ATLAS OF ORDINANCE NO. 13114, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION FROM "T6-48B-O" URBAN CORE ZONE TO "CS" CIVIC SPACE
ZONE, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 1001 SOUTH MIAMI
AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS EXHIBIT "A"; MAKING
FINDINGS; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, THE APPLICANT PROFERRED APPROXIMATELY 5,800 SQUARE FEET
OF ADDITIONAL LAND WITHIN THE 1001 SOUTH MIAMI AVENUE PROPERTY,
FOR A TOTAL OF 8,900 SQUARE FEET, TO THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR
PARK SPACE AS DEPICTED IN EXHIBIT "B".
Upon being seconded by Mr. Daniel Milian, the motion passed and was adopted by a
vote of 10-0:
