Director,744, I City Manager `al Purchasing N/A Chief � ir-" Page 1 of 1 Subject: License Agreement between the City of Miami and the Department of Off -Street Parking for the use of office space located at 3310-A Mary Street, Miami, Florida, by the City of Miami's Neighborhood Enhancement Team ("NET") The City of Miami's Neighborhood Enhancement Team ("NET") has an office located at 2820 McFarland Road, Miami, Florida, aka The Peacock Park Glass House, to serve the residents in and the visitors to the Coconut Grove community. The Peacock Park Glass House will be undergoing improvements and redevelopment. As such, the NET Administration needs to vacate its current office space at the Peacock Park Glass House and identify new office space. The NET Administration has worked with the Department of Off Street Parking ("MPA" or "DOSP") on this task. Vacant office space has been identified within the Coconut Grove neighborhood for use by NET as its new Coconut Grove office location. MPA is the owner of certain real property and improvements located at 3310-A Mary Street, Miami, Florida, which is approximately 1,500 SF ("Property"). The Property is available for use as office space and MPA has offered it to NET for a five (5) year term, with the option to renew for one (1) additional year, for the annual fee of One Dollar ($1.00); therefore, the Administration recommends that the City Commission authorize the City Manager to enter into the License Agreement ("Agreement") with MPA for NET's use of the Property with terms and conditions more particularly set forth in the Agreement.
