Background Information: The Department of Fire -Rescue, utilizing Urban Area Security Initiatives ("UASI") grant funds, desires to purchase one hundred thirty three (133) Motorola MC75A Pocket Computers, programmed with the EMTrack Mobile Software, from Intermedix EMSystems. Once purchased, these devices will be distributed by the Department of Fire -Rescue to the Hospitals that fall within the UASI region (Region 7), which will enable these facilities to "plug-in" (i.e. connect and access) to the Statewide Communications and Patient Tracking System, implemented by the Florida Department of Health in the fall of 2009.
