AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF PROGRAM YEAR 2013-2014 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT ("CDBG") FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $105,993 FROM THE DISTRICT 2 CDBG
PUBLIC SERVICE RESERVE ACCOUNT; ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS TO THE AGENCIES, AS
SPECIFIED IN EXHIBIT "A", ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, FOR PUBLIC SERVICE
ACTIVITIES; AUTHORIZING THECITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

Background Information:
Pursuant to Resolution No. 12-0467, adopted December 13, 2012, the Miami City Commission
approved the allocation of CDBG funds for Program Year 2013-2014, in the amount of $744,858 for
public service activities; and the amount of $198,346 remained in the Public Service Reserve
account, District 2 currently has the amount of $105,993 in such Public Service Reserve account.
At the December 13, 2012 City Commission meeting, District 2 requested that all 2013-2014 CDBG
Public Service allocations be placed in reserves for future use.
The Administration recommends the allocation of Program Year 2013-2014 CDBG funds, in the
amount of $105,993 from the District 2 Reserve Account, in the public service category, to the
agencies, as specified in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, for public service activities.
