The close out and de -obligation of these funds allows the Department of Community & Economic Development to recapture the funds to be used for other CDBG eligible activities. The Administration recommends the transfer of CDBG close out and de -obligated funds, as specified in Exhibit "A", attached and incorporated, in the total amount of $948,780.64; and allocating said funds to the City's Department of Community & Economic Development CDBG reserve account for future citywide CDBG eligible activities.
