Hannon City Clerk Date: Subject: References: Enclosures: February 20, 2013 Downtown Development Authority Agenda for March 14, 2013 List of members, Resume DDA Appointment, and DDA Memo and DDA Resolution The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board was created to exercise supervisory control over the activities of the director and staff of the Downtown Development Authority. Twelve (of the fifteen) members of the DDA shall be appointed by the current board of directors of the DDA and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami -Dade County and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed by the Cabinet of the State and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. The Commission -At -Large has for confirmation the following one (1) appointment by the Downtown Development Authority Board for a term as specified below. 1. Alicia E. Cervera (Term: 03/15/2013 through 8/31/2015. Serving out remainder of term due to vacancy created by resignation of Tony Alonso.) For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the March 14, 2013, Commission agenda.
