A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF ATTORNEY'S FEES AND COSTS, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $2,550, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPRESENTING COMMISSIONER
MICHELLE SPENCE-JONES IN THE CASE STYLED THE VIZCAYANS INC. V. CITY
OF MIAMI, INC. ET. AL., CASE NO. 07-17332-CA-13; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
THE NON DEPARTMENTAL ACCOUNT NO. 00001.980000.531010.0000.00000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Payment of attorney's fees and costs, in the amount of $2,550, to Peter Raben,
P.A. on behalf of Commissioner Michelle Spence -Jones, for the successful defense in the case styled
The Vizcayans Inc. v. City of Miami, Inc. et. al., Case No. 07-17332-CA-13, with funds allocated from
the Non Departmental Account No. 00001.980000.531010.0000.00000, is authorized.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City.
