Marcos Daniel Jimenez (Marc) is a partner in McDermott Will & Emery LLP's Miami and New York offices, He is a trial and appellate lawyer
specializing in complex business litigation, white-collar criminal defense and internal investigations. Marc's advocacy skills are recognized in
numerous publications, such as Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA (noted as a "compelling presence in the courtroom," "brilliant,
extraordinarily well prepared and incredibly polished," and "a very sharp trial lawyer").
During 2002 to 2005, Marc served as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, leading 230 federal prosecutors in significant
public corruption, national security, health care, securities and consumer fraud, narcotics trafficking, money laundering and other matters. During
his tenure, Marc served on the Attomey General's Advisory Committee, headed the nation's largest Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task
Force, and chaired antiterrorism task forces in the wake of September 11. Earlier in his career, Marc served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for four
years, successfully first -chairing criminal trials and appeals.
In private practice. Marc's significant cases include a recent trial victory in a deceptive trade practices action where the Florida Attomey General
sought more than $20 million in damages plus statutory penalties against his client, Alltel Communications, a subsidiary of Verizon Wireless. For
his Alltel win, Marc was featured in The National Law Journal's 2011 "Winning" issue and selected by the Daily Business Review as South Florida's
"Most Effective Lawyer" in the category of Complex Business/Civil Litigation.
Marc is an active community and bar leader. He has chaired the Florida Bar's Attomey-Client Privilege Task Force and Florida's Third District Court
of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. He previously served on the Board of Trustees of Baptist Health Systems, South Florida's largest
health care organization. He is currently a member of an ABA dialogue group that regularly meets with Attorney General Holder and his staff.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Marc is fluent in Spanish. He graduated third in his class (top one percent) from the University of Miami School of Law. was

Representative Civil Cases
Won a hard-fought preliminary injunction for Verizon Wireless in its RICO and fraud action against a well -funded adversary — one of the nation's
largest premium text message service providers; successfully argued the interlocutory appeal of the injunction in the Ninth Circuit; subsequently
obtained a favorable settlement. Cello° P'ship v. Hope et al., 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 53713, 2011-1 Trade Cas. (CCH) P77, 447 (D. Ariz, May 11,
2011) (preliminary injunction); Cellco P'ship v. Hope et al., 2012 U.S. App. LEXIS 3914 (9th Cir, Ariz, Feb, 27, 2012) (appeal).
As lead trial counsel for CDR Creances, S.A.S., a French -government instrumentality, secured final judgment striking the defendants' pleadings for
fraud on the court and awarding CDR title to properties worth approximately $65 million, after a lengthy evidentiary hearing; successfully argued the
appeal of the judgment. Empire World Towers, LLC v. CDR Creances, S.A.S., 2012 Fla. App. LEXIS 8626 (3d DCA May 30, 2012).
Serves as co -counsel for TD Bank in civil actions relating to the Scott Rothstein Ponzi scheme, one of the largest fraud schemes in the US.
Currently defends, as co -counsel, Florida's Medicaid agencies in a class action civil rights challenge where Florida's pediatricians and pediatric
dentists seek reimbursement rate increases totaling several hundred million dollars per year.
Serves as lead counsel for musicians Armando Christian Perez p/k/a Pitbull, Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr., p/k/a Ne-Yo, and Nick Van De Wall plkla
Afrojack in a right of publicity action brought by actress Lindsay Lohan over the mention of her name in an international hit song. Lohan v. Perez, et
al., Case No. CV-11-5413 (DRH)(ARL) (E.D.N.Y.).
Obtained dismissal with prejudice of contract and fraud claims filed against Verizon Wireless by a former distributor and successfully argued the
subsequent appeal of the ruling. Celluland USA, Inc. v. Verizon Wireless Personal Communications, 981 So. 2d 1209 (Fla. 3d DCA 2008).
Obtained dismissal, as co -counsel, of Alien Tort Statute claims against the Prime Minister and Finance Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

JUDGE ANA MARIA PANDO
BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
JUDGE ANA MARIA PANDO served as a Miami -Dade County Judge where she presided
since January 2001. Judge Pando handled County Criminal cases in the Hialeah Branch
Courthouse, processing in excess of 150 cases a day. Previously, in Hialeah, Judge Pando
presided over County Civil cases including small claims, collection actions, landlord -tenant
cases, and general civil litigation. She has also acted as an Acting Circuit Court Judge over
domestic violence matters from 2004 to the present. Judge Pando was assigned to the
Miami -Dade County Court Criminal Division from January 2001 to June of 2004, as her first
assignment as County Court Judge. She has tried approximately 120 jury trials, 60 criminal,
60 civil, 1450 bench trials, 450 criminal and 1000 civil trials. She is currently employed as
Senior Counsel in Alvarez, Carbonell, Feltman, Jimenez & Gomez, P.L., specializing in all
areas of civil and criminal litigation in the state and federal courts, in municipal and local
law and in governmental consulting and lobbying before municipal, state and federal
bodies.
A native of Miami -Dade County, Judge Pando graduated Cum Laude from Barry University
and received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Miami School of Law.
Judge Pando began her law career as a specially appointed Public Defender. In 1991, she
joined the Miami City Attorney's Office and was assigned to the Miami Police Department as
Police Legal Advisor. In 1999, Judge Pando became the Assistant City Attorney responsible
for code enforcement matters prosecuting violators before the Code Enforcement Board.
In addition, Judge Pando is active in the community participating in Town -Hall Meetings
geared towards educating the Miami -Dade County community concerning the court system.
She consistently participates at community outreach events, such as Law Days,
Constitution Day at Miami -Dade College, Red Ribbon Week, and career mentorship events
at local schools and universities.
Judge Pando is a member of the State of Florida's Conference of County Judges and the
Cuban American Bar Association. Judge Pando has also served as Board Counsel to the
Miami Commission on the Status of Women, was Board Member to the Metro -Miami Action
Plan, and is a founding member of the Miami -Dade County Teen Court.
Judge Pando took pride in truly being a "People's Judge" in the "People's Court".

JUDGE ANA MARIA PANDO
BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
JUDGE ANA MARIA PANDO served as a Miami -Dade County Judge where she presided
since January 2001. Judge Pando handled County Criminal cases in the Hialeah Branch
Courthouse, processing in excess of 150 cases a day. Previously, in Hialeah, Judge Pando
presided over County Civil cases including small claims, collection actions, landlord -tenant
cases, and general civil litigation. She has also acted as an Acting Circuit Court Judge over
domestic violence matters from 2004 to the present. Judge Pando was assigned to the
Miami -Dade County Court Criminal Division from January 2001 to June of 2004, as her first
assignment as County Court Judge. She has tried approximately 120 jury trials, 60 criminal,
60 civil, 1450 bench trials, 450 criminal and 1000 civil trials. She is currently employed as
Senior Counsel in Alvarez, Carbonell, Feltman, Jimenez & Gomez, P.L., specializing in all
areas of civil and criminal litigation in the state and federal courts, in municipal and local
law and in governmental consulting and lobbying before municipal, state and federal
bodies.
A native of Miami -Dade County, Judge Pando graduated Cum Laude from Barry University
and received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Miami School of Law.
Judge Pando began her law career as a specially appointed Public Defender. In 1991, she
joined the Miami City Attorney's Office and was assigned to the Miami Police Department as
Police Legal Advisor. In 1999, Judge Pando became the Assistant City Attorney responsible
for code enforcement matters prosecuting violators before the Code Enforcement Board.
In addition, Judge Pando is active in the community participating in Town -Hall Meetings
geared towards educating the Miami -Dade County community concerning the court system.
She consistently participates at community outreach events, such as Law Days,
Constitution Day at Miami -Dade College, Red Ribbon Week, and career mentorship events
at local schools and universities.
Judge Pando is a member. of the State of Florida's Conference of County Judges and the
Cuban American Bar Association. Judge Pando has also served as Board Counsel to the
Miami Commission on the Status of Women, was Board Member to the Metro -Miami Action
Plan, and is a founding member of the Miami -Dade County Teen Court.
Judge Pando took pride in truly being a "People's Judge" in the "People's Court".
