Purpose of Item: To propose an amendment to the FY2012-13 budget resolution for Special Revenue Funds to include allocations for Law Enforcement Trust Fund (LETF) and Departmental Improvement Initiatives for the Building Unsafe Structure program and the Believe in Recycling for a Cleaner Miami program and to include the change to the Special Events line item approved on December 13, 2012. Background Information: The FY2012-13 Adopted Budget for both Law Enforcement Trust Fund (LETF) and the Departmental Improvement Initiative Funds (DIIF) is revised upward to reflect added revenue that has been received since the Budget was prepared. The LETF increased funding will be used for eligible ' expenses such as equipment and overtime. The funding in the DIIF will be made available for the Believe in Recycling for a Cleaner Miami program, as per Resolution No. 12-0501 and eligible demolition of unsafe structures.
