The City of Miami Department of Community Development will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at
City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on
funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs.
The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.com/communitvdevelopment.
The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City
Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan. Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and
review for a period of no Tess than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 and ends on
Wednesday, January 9, 2013. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday,
January 10, 2013. Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Department of Community Development office located at 444
SW 2nd AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CD Address). Comments to amendments) must be submitted in writing to the CD Address,
Attn: Natasha T. Bordes, and must be received no later than January 9, 2013. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this
Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed at 305-
416-2080 no later than three (3) business days prior to the public hearing date.

The City of Miami Department of Community Development will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 10,
2013 at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an
opportunity to comment onrfunding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of
Housing & Urban Development (HUDZprograms.
1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of Program Year 2012-2013 CDBG funds in the
amount of $31,330 from the City of Miami Department of Community & Economic Development District 5
Reserve account to the City of Miami Department of Community & Economic Development Micro -Enterprise
Assistance Program.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds in the amount of $650,000 from
the District 3 Economic Development Reserve account to Miami Dade College for the rehabilitation of the
Tower Theater.
3. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds in the amount of $95,000 from
the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District to the City of Miami Department of Community & Economic
Development Loan Program for business in District 2.
4. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG funds in the additional amount of
$300,000 from the District 3 Reserve Account to the District 3 Community Center Project for the purchase and
development of the site located at 1320 Southwest 12th Avenue, Miami, Florida.
5. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of CDBG Funds Close-out Funds in the total
amount of $438,640.30 as specified below:
