Danie City Clerk Date: Subject: References: Enclosures: November 30, 2012 Downtown Development Authority Agenda for December 13, 2012 List of members, DDA Memo and DDA Resolution The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board was created to exercise supervisory control over the activities of the director and staff of the Downtown Development Authority. Twelve (of the fifteen) members of the DDA shall be appointed by the current board of directors of the DDA and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami -Dade County and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. One member may be appointed by the Cabinet of the State and submitted to the City Commission for confirmation. The Commission -at -Large has for confirmation the following five (5) appointments by the Downtown Development Authority Board for a four-year term as specified below. 1. Hank Klein (Term: 9/1/2012 through 8/31/2016) 2. Danet Linares (Term: 9/1/2012 through 8/31/2016) 3. Dr. Rolando Montoya (Term: 9/1/2012 through 8/31/2016) 4. Julie Grimes (Term: 9/1/2012 through 8/31/2016) 5. Sergio Rok (Unexpired Term: 12/14/2012 through 8/31/2015 — Serving out remainder of term due to vacancy created by resignation of Tony Alonso.) For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the December 13, 2012, Commission agenda.
