The nature of this item is to establish a resolution authorizing the piggyback of the Florida
Department of Transportation Contract No. ITB-DOT-11/12/9005-GB for Asphalt Patch Truck, from
Bergkamp, Inc., on a citywide, as needed contractual basis, effective through October 2, 2013, subject
to any extensions and/or replacement contracts thereto made by the Florida Department of
Transportation. Allocating funds from the various sources of funds from the user departments and
agencies, authorizing said services as needed, subject to availability of funds and budgetary approval
at the time of need.
Background Information:
This resolution will authorize the piggyback and use of the Florida Department of Transportation
Contract No. ITB-DOT-11/12/9005-GB for Asphalt Patch Truck, on a citywide, as needed contractual
basis, subject to any extensions and/or replacement contracts by the Florida Department of
Transportation. The estimated annual contract amount is $146,151.
