Director City Manager Page 1 of 2 Purchasing kJ A Chief Background Information: NW 14 Street is a dedicated public right of way within the City of Miami. The Department is constructing the Miami Intermodal Center (the "MIC") located adjacent to the Miami International Airport and Melreese Golf Course. As part of the MIC project, the Department constructed roadway improvements on NW 14 Street between NW 42 Court and NW 34 Avenue and to facilitate the construction of the improvements, the City, by Resolution No. 01-010, transferred this portion of NW 14 Street to the Department. The Department has completed the roadway improvements fulfilling the purpose for which the roadway was transferred and no longer requires ownership or control of the road. The Department desires to transfer this portion of NW 14 Street back to the City. The City shall re- assume the perpetual maintenance of this portion of NW 14 Street. Page 2 of 2
