The City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at City Commission Chambers, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133, to provide the public an opportunity to comment on funding amendments affecting the City's annual Action Plan for US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) programs. The proposed amendment(s) and respective description(s) can be found at: www.miamigov.comlcommunitvdevelopment. Communit Development The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution, by the City Commission, related to the proposed amendment(s), authorizes the City. Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Annual Action Plan: Certain item(s) may be available for public comment and review for a period of no Tess than 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 and ends on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, December 13, 2012. Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Community & Economic Development Department office located at 444 SW 2"d AVE, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33130 (CD Address). Comments to amendment(s) must be submitted in writing to the Address, Attn: Natasha T. Bordes, and must be received no later than December 12, 2012. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Discussion and Proposed Resolution accepting Program Year ("PY") 2013-2014, United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") Entitlement Grant funds, in the total projected amount of $20,732,282, as stated herein for the following programs: (a) Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG"): $4,965,718; (b) Home Investment Partnerships ("HOME"): $2,953,344; (c) Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS ("HOPWA"): $12,163,466; (d) Emergency Solutions Grant ("ESG"): $649,754. 2.
