NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the Southeast Overtown/ Park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("SEOPW CRA") will
hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. or anytime thereafter in the City Commission chambers located
at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133.
The Board will consider the allocation of funding to Community Work Training Program, Inc., Hospitality Employees Advancement and Training, Inc.,
and Transition, Inc. (collectively "Organizations") in the following amounts:
Community Work Training Program, Inc. $220,000.00
Hospitality Employees Advancement and Training, Inc. $200,000.00
Transition, Inc. $437,612.73
Total Allocation: $857,612.73
In accordance with the SEOPW CRA 2018 Redevelopment Plan Update ("Plan") and Section 163 Florida Statutes, the Board will consider
the allocation of funding an aggregate amount not to exceed Eight Hundred Fifty -Seven Thousand Six Hundred Twelve Dollars and Seventy -
Three Cents ($857,612.73) to the Organizations. This funding will aid in providing work training within the redevelopment area and is
consistent with the Plan.
All comments and questions with respect to the meeting and public participation should be addressed to James McQueen, Executive

This action is being considered pursuant to Sections 18-85 and 18-86 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida as amended ("City Code").
The recommendation and findings to be considered in this matter are set forth in the proposed resolution and will be available as with the
scheduled SEOPW CRA Board meeting or anytime thereafter in the City Commission chambers.
The SEOPW CRA Board requests all interested parties be present or represented at the meeting, and may be heard with respect to any
proposition before the SEOPW CRA Board, in which the Board may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the
Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made,
including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
