Director Chief , '4 / " City Manager Page 1 of 2 Subject: Lease Agreement with Centennial Express Incorporated for the use and occupancy of space located in the City of Miami, Florida Background Information: The City of Miami Police Department has expressed a need for the continued use and occupancy of warehouse space it currently occupies space as a month -to -month tenant from Centennial Express Incorporated ("Lessor"). Therefore, the City of Miami ("City") and the Lessor wish to enter into a Lease Agreement ("Lease") for the use of 1,326 square feet of warehouse space located in the City of Miami, Florida ("Premises"). Under the Lease, the City shall continue to pay for its own electricity and telephone services. The City's monthly rent for the use of the space will be $1,500.00 ($13.57 per square foot), for a term of one (1) year with the option to renew for five (5) successive terms of one (1) year each, subject to the rent increases provided for in the Lease.
