A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
TWENTY-ONE (21) RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS OF DEDICATION, AS DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A", ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES;
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF SAID DEEDS IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA; FURTHER DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO KEEP COPIES OF SAID DEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") Department of Public Works ("Department") recommends
the acceptance of twenty-one (21) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication for the properties described in
"Exhibit A," attached and incorporated; and
WHEREAS, the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Right -of -Way
Deeds pursuant to Section 54-58 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("City Code");
and
WHEREAS, twenty-one (21) owners executed Right -of -Way Deeds, conveying said properties to
the City; and
WHEREAS, said Right -of -Way Deeds have been recorded in the Public Records of Miami -Dade
County, Florida, and by reference are made a part hereof as if fully incorporated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized{1} and directed to accept twenty-one (21) Right -of -Way
Deeds of Dedication, as described in "Exhibit A," attached and incorporated, for highway purposes.
Section 3. The City Commission approves and authorizes the recordation of said deeds in the
Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to keep copies of the twenty-one (21) Right -of -Way Deeds of
Dedication that have been provided.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{2}

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City
Charter and Code provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor votes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
