Director Chief z��� City Manager Page 1 of 2 Subject: Revocable License Agreement with St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Inc. for the use of a portion of City of • Miami -owned property located at 2820 McFarland Rd, aka Peacock Park Background Information: The Licensee currently operates a church and educational programs directly adjacent to the City -owned property located at 2820 McFarland Rd, aka Peacock Park ("Property"). The Licensee is interested in making non -substantial improvements, i.e. less than $500,000.00, to portions of the Property so that it can provide physical fitness programs to qualifying elementary school children. The City of Miami and the Licensee desire to enter into a new Revocable License Agreement ("Agreement") so that the Licensee can provide the aforementioned physical fitness programs. The City and the Licensee have negotiated the terms of the Agreement, which include such terms as the Agreement being revocable at will, the Licensee being able to use portions of the Property for a term of ten years, the Licensee remitting a Use Fee payment to the City of $1.00 per year, plus State of Florida Use Tax (if applicable), the Licensee making no more than $500,000.00 worth of improvements to portions of the Property, and other additional terms and condition more specifically set forth in the Agreement.
