HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-12-0378City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-12-0378 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 12-00907 Final Action Date: 10/11/2012 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED JULY 10, 2012, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO. 312282, FROM MOTOR SERVICES HUGO STAMP, INC., THE SOLE RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, FOR THE PURCHASE OF MARINE EQUIPMENT, REPAIRS AND BOAT MAINTENANCE, ON A CITYWIDE, AS NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT TIME OF NEED, ADDING SUPPLIERS TO THE CONTRACT AS DEEMED IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF MIAMI. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid received July 10, 2012, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No. 312282, from Motor Services Hugo Stamp, Inc., the sole responsive and responsible bidder, for the purchase of marine equipment, repairs and boat maintenance, on a citywide, as needed contractual basis, for an initial contract period of two (2) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods, is accepted, allocating funds from various sources, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at time of need, adding suppliers to the contract as deemed in the best interest of the City of Miami. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
