Final Action Date:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE LIBERTY CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TRUST'S
FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013 BUDGET; IN THE AMOUNT OF $461,859, ATTACHED
AND INCORPORATED, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1,
2012 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2013.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami approved and adopted the Liberty City Community Revitalization
Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12859; as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City's revitalization and
redevelopment activities in the Liberty City area; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.15-35 of the City Code, as amended, requires a budget, pertaining to the
management, operations, maintenance and capital expenditures for the Trust, be approved by the City
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Trust requests the approval of the budget for the fiscal year commencing October
1, 2012 and ending September 30, 2013, in the amount of $461,859, from administrative dollars
provided by the Neighborhood Initiative Grant Program income to provide the general administrative
and operational staff the support to operate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are incorporated
as fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust's Fiscal Year 2012-2013 budget, in the
amount of $461,859, attached and incorporated, is approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the
Mayor.{1}

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
