Background Information:
I The City of Miami, through the Model City Community Revitalization District Trust, entered into an
agreement with FDEP to complete the environmental cleanup of the property at 6200 NW 17th
Avenue. FDEP contributes 65% of the project cost up to $191,466.83 and an amendment is needed
to extend the term of the agreement in order to maintain the funding for the cleanup of this site. As
per the agreement, payments are made directly to the contractor by FDEP. For this project, the City
has secured a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency as the cost share requirement.
