Purpose of item: Resolution ratifying the execution of amendment to the Advance Cleanup Program ("PAC") funding agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection ("FDEP") to extend the term of the agreement for 12 months with the option to renew for two additional similar periods, under the same terms and conditions. Director City Manager Page 1 of 2 Background Information: I The City of Miami, through the Model City Community Revitalization District Trust, entered into an agreement with FDEP to complete the environmental cleanup of the property at 6200 NW 17th Avenue. FDEP contributes 65% of the project cost up to $191,466.83 and an amendment is needed to extend the term of the agreement in order to maintain the funding for the cleanup of this site. As per the agreement, payments are made directly to the contractor by FDEP. For this project, the City has secured a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency as the cost share requirement.
