In particular, two of the documents are memos from AFSCME Local 1907 which contain the names of their selections for Commission confirmation to the General Employees' and Sanitation Employee's Retirement Trust (GESE). The two names submitted for confirmation are Mr. Anthony Hatten and Mr. Oscar Valido. The other two documents are memos from AFSCME Local 1907 which contain the names of their selections for consideration and approval by the City Commission to GESE. The two names submitted for City Commission consideration and approval are Ms. Elizabeth Warwick and Ms. Cary Montero. At this time, AFSCME Local 1907 is requesting that Mr. Anthony Hatten be appointed to this seat on the Pension Board. Per Section 40- 243(a)(2)b, Miami City Code, "(t)wo trustees shall be selected by the general employees and their names submitted to the City Clerk. The trustee may be a present or retired member of the bargaining unit represented by the General Employees' Union and shall be selected and serve according to the constitution and bylaws of the General Employees' Union."
