R-12-0278, ADOPTED JULY 26, 2012, AND REVISING CURRENT APPROPRIATIONS AMONG APPROVED PROJECTS; FURTHER APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR THE ADDED PROJECTS. WHEREAS, a new appropriation of grant from Florida Inland Navigation District is being established in the amount of $60,000.00 for B-30541 B; Kennedy Park Floating Dock PH I; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of grant from Florida Inland Navigation District is being established in the amount of $75,000.00 for B-30541 C; Kennedy Park Shoreline Stabilization PH1; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of grant from Florida Inland Navigation District is being established in the amount of $117,500.00 for B-50722; Little River Waterfront Park LAQ; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of grant from Miami -Dade County is being established in the amount of $13,239.00 for B-30501 B; Manuel Artime Dimmer Rack System; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of grant from Miami -Dade County Metropolitan Planning Organization is being established in the amount of $48,000.00 for B-30645E; Overtown/Wynwood Bicycle Pedestrian Mobility Plan; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of grant from Florida Department of Transportation is being established in the amount of $2,339,739.00 for B-30651; Miami River Greenway - NW 10 Ave to NW 12 Ave; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of grant from Florida Department of Transportation is being established in the amount of $1,000,000.00 for B-30336; Miami River Greenways - NW 5th Street Bridge Extension; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of Sanitary Sewer GO Bonds is being established in the amount of $3,650,000 for various capital projects; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of Transit Half -Cent Surtax is being established in the amount of $2,681,615 for various capital projects; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of Local Option Gas Tax is being established in the amount of $158,400 for B-73102A; Citywide Streets Milling & Resurfacing; and WHEREAS, a new appropriation of Parking Surcharge is being established in the amount of City of Miami Page 1 of 3 File Id: 12-00903 (Version: 21 Printed On: 11/29/2017 File Number: 12-00903 Enactment Number: R-12-0316 $1,245,400 for B-73102A; Citywide Streets Milling & Resurfacing; and WHEREAS, the new and revised appropriations constitute an update to the existing Multi -Year Capital Plan approved pursuant to Resolution No. 12-0233, adopted June 28, 2012; and WHEREAS, the previous appropriations remain authorized to continue previously approved capital projects; and WHEREAS, select previous appropriations are being reallocated within Capital Funds; and WHEREAS, it is now necessary in order to approve appropriations for new sources of revenues for Fiscal Year 2012 and add to prior year appropriations in Capital Funds based on the following format: Fund 30000 Community Redevelopment Area Fund 31000 General Government Fund 32000 Public Safety Fund 33000 Disaster Recovery Fund 34000 Public Facilities Fund 35000 Parks & Recreation Fund 36000 Streets & Sidewalks Fund 37000 Sanitary Sewers Fund 38000 Storm Sewers Fund 39000 Solid Waste Fund 39900 Mass Transit Fund 98004 ARRA Others Memo Only; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The herein appropriations are hereby made for implementation of municipal capital improvements of the City of Miami ("City"), for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2012. The added appropriations are designated by reference to capital fund and fund balances. Descriptive fund number and project balances, when included, are shown for informational purposes only. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature by the Mayor.{1} Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, It shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
