A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA"),
WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AMENDING THE CRA'S GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2010 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2011, (1) TO INCLUDE CAR ALLOWANCES; (2) TO REINSTATE
CERTAIN CELLULAR PHONE ALLOWANCES; (3) TO ALLOCATE ADDITIONAL
FUNDS TOWARD AGENCY TRAVEL AND FOOD EXPENDITURES; AND (4) TO
INCLUDE $1,318.21, AS RATIFICATION OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S
SALARY OF FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING JULY 23, 2010 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2010; FURTHER DIRECTING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO
TRANSMIT A COPY OF THE BUDGET, AS AMENDED HEREIN, TO THE CITY OF
MIAMI AND MIAMI-DADE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Executive Director's compensation prior to October 1, 2010 was
approximately $123,000 per year; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director's current salary (approximately $108,000/year) is based on
the salary earned prior to October 1, 2010, and represents the 12 percent salary reduction
implemented by the CRA, similar to that of the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, the CRA salary reductions were made effective October 1, 2010 with the approval
and adoption by the Board of Commissioners of the Fiscal Year 2011 General Operating Budget; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners, by Resolution No. CRA-R-10-0083, passed and
adopted on October 14, 2010, set the compensation for the Executive Director, and made said
compensation to be effective retroactive to July 23, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the July 23, 2010 effective date caused for the Executive Director to receive a
salary reduction, prior to October 1, 2010 - the intended effective date for all City of Miami and CRA
salary reductions; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners wishes to amend the CRA's General Operating
Budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2010 and ending September 30, 2011;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.

Section 2. The CRA's General Operating Budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1,
2010 and ending September 30, 2011 ("FY2011 Budget"), a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A"
hereto and made a part hereof, is amended as follows:[1]

Section 3. The FY2011 Budget is further amended to include $1,318.21, as ratification of the
Executive Director's salary for the period beginning July 23, 2010 and ending September 30, 2010.
Section 4. The Executive Director is directed to transmit a copy of the FY2011 Budget, as
amended herein, to the City of Miami and Miami -Dade County.
Section 5. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
