Subject: City Hall The Restaurant

It is recommended that the Board of Commissioners of the Omni Redevelopment District Community
Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") approve and adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the issuance
of a grant, in amount not to exceed $ 148,000.00, to City Hall The Restaurant, LLC for exterior capital
improvements.
The funding request to the CRA represents 22% of the estimated $ 1.4 million project budget, and
these proceeds will be used to reimburse the Applicant/Owner for installation of new street curbs,
sidewalks, irrigation system, parking lot improvements and the installation of a 12" water line to
comply with City of Miami Code.
Construction commenced on September 10th, 2010 and is expected to be completed by April to Mid -
May of 2011.
JUSTIFICATION:
Sections B.3 & D.5, on page 41, of the OMNI Redevelopment Plan lists the creation for.a sustainable
regional destination and identify by capitalizing on the development of the Performing Arts Ctr. and
the Media/Entertainment District.
FUNDING:
$ 148,000.00 from the OMNI Tax Increment Fund, "Other Grants and Aids", Account Code No.
10040.920101.883000.0000.0000
