A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE OMNI
REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
SETTING THE VACATION AND SICK -DAY ACCRUAL RATE OF THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR, WITH THE TOTAL HOURS ACCRUED TO REPRESENT THE
MAXIMUM HOURS TO BE EARNED FROM BOTH THE OMNI REDEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT AND SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST CRAS AND TO BE USED
CONCURRENTLY BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.
WHEREAS, the Executive Director currently accrues two -weeks paid vacation and seven paid
sick days annually; and
WHEREAS, to be more in -line with executive level benefits available in the City of Miami, the
Board of Commissioners wishes to increase the vacation and sick -day accrual rate of the Executive
Director of the CRA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The vacation and sick -day accrual rate of the Executive Director is hereby set as
follows:
Vacation 160 hours/year{1}
Sick 8 hours/month{1}
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
