A Resolution of the Miami City Commission waiving, pursuant to Section 62-521 of the Code of the
City of Miami, Florida, as amended, the temporary event two (2) event limitation per year to allow the
property at 1001 South Miami Avenue, Miami, Florida, to host various temporary events beginning
September 15, 2012 and ending December 31, 2012.
Background Information:
Properties are limited to two (2) temporary events permits per year. The City Commission may
authorize additional permits by affirmative vote. This property has already had two (2) temporary
events and wishes to have others in October and November 2012. Each permit is reviewed by the
applicable departments to ensure life -safety and quality of life issues. Each permit has a cost of
$153.50.
