P.E Chief. l'rucuremcnf ()nicer City Maniiger ADDENDUM NO. 1 IFB No. 317282 May 15, 2012 Plans Review and Inspection Services TO: PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the IFB documents of the above captioned IFB, and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Please note the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand. The following is the City's answers to questions received from prospective bidders: Ql. I noticed last month the City issued a bid for building department services. Is this bid replacing that one? Or will this bid be for on -call, as -needed purposes? Al. IFB 291273 issued March 9, 2012 was cancelled by the City Manager due to a need for minor modifications. IFB 317282 is a new solicitation for the same -services. Q2. Who is currently providing the City with these services? A2. The firm currently providing these services is Target Engineering. Q3. Is this proposal to be submitted through the City's Oracle online? A3. Responses shall be submitted either electronically or in hardcopy format to the City Clerk's Office. Please refer to Section 1.79 in the General Terms and Conditions section. Q4. Page 29 of 37 Section 2.3 Term of Contract: Are there any escalation provisions within the contract for the Hourly Rates if the Contract is extended beyond the initial 2 Year Term. A4. There is no escalation provision for this contract. Additionally, please refer to Section 1.37 of the General Terms and Conditions of this IFB. Q5. The IFB Requests a "Bid Bond"... typically this is required of a project where construction type services will be provided. Is this Bid Bond a requirement for this IFB? A5.
