Purpose of Item: Law Department Matter ID No. A Resolution of the Miami City Commission waiving, pursuant to Section 62-521 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, the temporary event two (2) event limitation per year to allow the property at 265 NW 22 Street, Miami, Florida, to host food truck gatherings on the second Saturday of every month beginning August 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2012. Background Information: Chapter 62 of the City Code limits the number of Temporary Use Permits ("TUPS") that may be issued to any one (1) property to two (2) per year. This limitation may be extended by affirmative vote of the City Commission. The property at 265 NW 22 Street has already had two (2) TUPs for food truck gatherings related to the Wynwood Art Walk. The food truck gatherings are popular and the organizers would like to continue the event in conjunction with the Wynwood Art Walk which is held the second Saturday of every month.
