OFFICE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
MEMORANDUM
TO: Priscilla A. Thotnpson, City Clerk
FROM: Julie O. Bru, City Attorn
DATE: July 27, 2012
RE:
Scrivener's Error/Clarification- City Commission Meeting, July 26, 2012
Resolution No. 12-0270, Relating to a resolution approving twenty two (22)
scholarships for certain eligible Solid Waste employees or dependents.
File No. 12-00700
Resolution No. 12-0270, adopted July 26, 2012, contains scrivcner's errors in the title.
The title of the resolution reads "with attachments", which is an error because there are no
attachments to the resolution.
The fourth "whereas clause' of the resolution makes reference to an ordinance number which
was the companion item to.this teSolution. Since the companion ordinance was .adopted on the
same day, an ordinance number could not be included in the legislation at the time of print and
therefore, it was left blank.
The correct ordinance number, Ordinance No. 13330, has been included in the attached resolution
as well.
The attached legislation reflects the changes that have been made in Legistar.
