TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the Bid Documents of the above captioned IFB,
and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain
unchanged. Please note the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand.
The bid closing date and time has been changed as indicated below:
Tuesday February 7 2012 at 2•00 PM Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM
Additionally, Attachment 11 of the "Child Care Food Program (CCFP) Standard Catering Contract FFY 2011-2012" has
been revised to reflect the new bid closing date and time.

By means of Addendum No. 1, published January 27, 2012, the bid closing date and time was changed to
Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM.
Inadvertently, when modifying the closing date and time in the City's sourcing system, the incorrect bid closing
time was entered and published. This addendum is being published to document a change made
electronically in the City's sourcing system to correct the bid closing time.
The bid closing date and time still remains as indicated in Addendum No. 1: Friday, February 10, 2012 at
2:00 PM

TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the Bid Documents of the above captioned IFB,

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SUBMITTED BY PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2.2 OF
THE IFB:
Ql. For the provision of meals under this contract, will Successful Bidder be following Attachment 2 Cycle
Menu A, as it pertains to "Snacks" or Attachment 4 "Boxed Lunches" Menus? Please advise.
Al. Successful Bidder will be following Attachment 2 Cycle Menu A, as it pertains to "Snacks".
Q2. Who is the incumbent currently providing the snacks and what is their price structure?
A2. The incumbent currently providing after school snacks is Greater Miami Caterers, Inc., at a price of. $0.74 per
Afternoon Snack.
Q3. When is the projected start date after the award?
A3: At the moment, the City does not have a projected start date; however the current contract is under an extension
through July 8, 2012. The start date of the new contract will dependon approval granted by the Florida Department of
Health, Bureau of Childcare Food Programs (after bids are received and evaluated), the City of Miami Commission
(award of contract), and Successful Bidder's compliance with the Insurance .Requirements listed in the solicitation.
Nevertheless, Successful Bidder will be provided with adequate notice and a Purchase Order prior to the official start
date of services.
Q4. How many daily delivery sites will the contractor have to deliver to? Or Is it just one site? If more than.
one, would the City provide Prospective Bidder's with each site's address and estimated number of daily
snacks?
A4. Delivery sites, times, and estimated number of daily snacks are found in Attachment 6 Delivery Schedule,
located in the "Child Care Food Program (CCFP) Standard Catering Contract FFY 2011-2012".
Q5. Is it correct for a Prospective Bidder to use the snack menu and meal pattern on the Child Care Food
Program (CCFP), Standard Catering Contract, FFY 2011-2012 to price its' bid or is there another menu

A5. Prospective Bidders shall use the menus and meal patterns shown in the "Child Care Food --Program (CCFP)
Standard Catering Contract FFY 2011-2012" to price their bid. There are no other menus.
Q6. With respect to the estimated quantity of 231,492 snacks, is this per budget year? How many snacks are
to be delivered per day?
A6. The estimated quantity of 231,492 represents the estimated annual amount of snacks to be delivered. This
number is based on an estimated quantity of 1,146 after school snacks per day multiplied by 202 estimated number of
serving days per year.
Q7. How many schools will the. Successful Bidder deliver to?
A7. The City of Miami does not administer any schools. Please refer to the answer for Question # 4 in this
addendum.
Q8. Will Successful Bidder be required to supply cutlery or paper goods?
A8. . Yes. As indicated in Attachment 5 — Meal Services to be Provided of the "Child Care Food Program (CCFP)
Standard Catering Contract FFY 2011-2012", the Successful Bidder will be required to provide "disposable meal
service products" and "serving utensils".
Q9. Between what ages are the children to be served?
A9. As indicated in Attachment 7 — Price Schedule of the "Child Care Food Program (CCFP) Standard Catering
-Contract FFY 2011-2012", the children's ages are between 6 and 12 years old.
Q10. What is the current per snack price?
A10. Please refer to the answer for Question # 2 in this addendum.
Q11. What company has the current bid?

As a courtesy reminder to all PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS, there are two solicitation documents (1.e. "bid documents')
which make up this entire solicitation. Both documents are listed below and may be accessed via the City's Oracle
Sourcing system ("iSuppller"). Prospective Bidders must read both documents in detail. Each document will indicate
what forms and documentation must be included In your bid response.
