Thompson References: Agenda for June 14, 2012 City Clerk Enclosures: List of members The Finance Committee, a seven (7) member board was created to review and make recommendations regarding the issuance of debt obligations and the management of outstanding debt. The committee will consider all issues related to outstanding and proposed debt obligations, and will vote on issues affecting or relating to the credit worthiness, security and repayment of such obligations, including but not limited to procurement of services, structure, repayment terms and covenants of the proposed debt obligation, and issues which may affect the security of the bonds and ongoing disclosure to bondholders and interested parties. Two (2) appointments are required at this time: • Vice Chairman Marc David Sarnoff has one (1) nomination for a seat currently: 1. Vacant. • City Manager Johnny Martinez has one (1) nomination for a seat currently: 1. Vacant. Note: Per Resolution 98-767, the Finance Director serves as the City Manager's designee on the Finance Committee. The City of Miami's Finance Director is Stephen Petty. For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said committee. By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the June 14, 2012, Commission agenda.
