ADDENDUM NO. 1 IFB No. 310293 March 28, 2012 Invitation For Bid (IFB) for Vactor Truck Debris Hauling TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: The following changes, additions, clarifications, and deletions amend the Bid Documents of the above captioned IFB, and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Please note the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand. Q1: Can a copy of the last environmental testing & sampling report / test be provided? Prospective bidder would like to see what was tested in order to determine price. A1: A copy of the Environmental Testing & Sampling Report is not available because the County has not required the current contracted vendor to have this done. Q2: On Line item 3 of the IFB, the City is asking for disposal of 52 containers, does City mean the hauling of 52 containers? Line Item 1 of the IFB addresses the disposal by the ton. A2: Yes, that is correct. For line item 3 of the IFB, the City is asking for the estimated disposal of 52 containers, however that is over the span of a year. As noted in Line 3 of the IFB, "Estimated quantity is based on the pick-up and disposal of one (1) container per week (or as needed) times 52 weeks per calendar year." For line item # 2 of the IFB, the same is applicable except that the estimated quantity is based on the "pick-up and disposal of two (2) containers [10 cubic yards each] per week (or as needed) times 52 weeks per calendar year." Q3: What is the disposal site the current Vendor is using for the disposal of the Vactor Truck Debris? A3: The current contracted vendor disposes of vactor truck debris at this location: Miarrii-Dade County North Dade Landfill 21500 NW 47th Ave. Miami, Florida In accordance with Section 3 of the IFB, the Successful Bidder(s) shall dispose of the Vactor Truck Debris collected from the Department of Public Works at the nearest Miami -Dade County Disposal Waste Facility. Q4: What kind of equipment is required for this Debris Hauling? A4: As stated in the Lines section and Section 3 of the IFB, the Successful Bidder must .provide either a 20 cubic yard container or two 10 cubic yard containers at the Department of Public Work's Operationssite, located at 1290 NW 20th Street, Miami, Florida. The Successful Bidder(s) shall have the necessary equipment to haul away and replace full containers with clean and empty containers. Page 1 ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE IFB REMAIN THE SAME.
